Our Policy

We appreciate that you’ve chosen OHI (Optimal Health Indy) for your manual bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to our clients, we have implemented the following policies: 

  • Inappropriate Behavior Policy

    • Massage Therapy is for healing purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component or innuendos tolerated within our studio. Any inappropriate touch, insinuation, gesture, or request will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior, a report with the local authorities may be filed, or we may have you detained until law enforcement arrives.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • We require a 24-hour cancellation notice for all appointment changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or no-call/no-show to an appointment without providing proper notice, it provides little time to fill that appointment while still accommodating our service providers. Missed appointments without proper notification will be charged in full.

    • We are now requiring a credit card number to hold all booking reservations so that appropriate fees may be charged if a late cancellation / no show does occur.

    • We understand that emergencies and illnesses arise at the most inopportune times. If you develop a fever, illness, and are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we please request that you reschedule.

    • Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advance notice of the studio closing or need to reschedule due to bad weather or therapist unexpected conflict (child sickness, family emergency, etc.). We ask that you please do the same.

    • Some cancellations may not result in a charge, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Late Arrival Policy

    • We request that you please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your initial scheduled appointment to allow time to fill out required intake forms, and complete consultation with your therapist. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so we cannot exceed that reserved time without effecting other appointments after you. For this reason, arriving after your scheduled appointment time may result in loss of time from your service so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full-service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.
